Dear Diary: Greetings from Sunny California

Soaking up a little sun while hanging out with @ChampagneCheetah. Eating tacos. Getting in some hikes. Making pad thai from scratch. And of course... beers!

We visited #SanClemente (the background in this pic) for the day this weekend and it was adorable. Watched a surfing competition. Ate some gelato. Laid on the beach. Not too shabby.

Also very grateful for a little time to get some drawing in. I doodled the image above using Adobe Fresco on top of a photo I took with my phone from the San Clemente pier. Then I used photoshop to lay in the cover of the book.

Just finished #WhereTheCrawdadsSing by @authordeliaowens and it was SO WONDERFUL! I can't wait to see @daisyedgarjones play Kya in the movie @reesewitherspoon/@HelloSunshine is making! (If loving @reesesbookclub with my whole heart makes me basic, then so be it.)

I feel like July is flying by at the speed in which I guzzle my sauvignon blanc before the meal even gets to the table. (Usain Bolt fast.) Anyone else feel like summer is slipping away too quickly?
