Kathleen Heaney is a multi-talented digital creator and seasoned podcaster with a flair for lifestyle content and a passion for clever storytelling. With 17 years of graphic design experience and a toolkit that includes podcast production, motion graphics, web design, video/photo editing, social media strategy, illustration, and branding, Kathleen brings both creativity and strategy to everything she touches.

On Instagram (@KathleenLovesColor), she shares her love for all things DIY and home décor --think maximalist color palettes, upcycled furniture, and joyful interiors.

Most recently, Kathleen served as Marketing Director for Fabalish: Plant-Based Dips & Bites, where she dove into the world of better-for-you food brands. Her newfound obsession? Reading food packaging like it’s fine print on a contract…copy, ingredients, and all!

From 2016 to 2023, she co-hosted the Webby-nominated lifestyle podcast An Acquired Taste, which amassed over 12 million downloads and landed a regular spot on Apple’s Personal Journals top 100. She also co-hosted a twice-monthly live video podcast and a monthly book club (Book Buds) on Patreon.

A proud New Jerseyan, Kathleen lives in Hoboken with her husband and two cats. She's an avid audiobook listener, hiking enthusiast, amateur potter, and Facebook Marketplace treasure hunter.

Though she earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science from Rutgers University, Kathleen pivoted into digital design after completing a Web Development certification at NYU. She continued her creative studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the School of Visual Arts, and is currently pursuing an Interior Design certification from the New York Institute of Art and Design.

You may recognize her from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, where she spent eight years as Digital Director and on-air talent known as “Web Girl Kathleen.” During her time there, she grew the show’s online reach to 1.5 million.

Kathleen is driven by curiosity, a love of bold design, social equity, Women’s Rights advocacy, and a deep, abiding commitment to her Vitamix blender.
